The game is making me bitter.
Find myself getting bitter.
BDC is getting so crowded that it seems like I'm rubbing elbows with everyone else. This creates a lot of tension and tempers are flaring, mine especially. Had some 35lv crossbow man named "Goat something" following me around. I asked him not to get into my fights. He did not answer, just kept following me around.
I finally shook him. I hit the bottom section and found a crowd of about 7 archers aimed at the Noble spawn. "The heck with this", I thought and took a right turn to see of one of the two solder wanted to dance. One was there but seemed he had one of the archers in mind for his partner. I pounded on him until he found his way past the wall and attacked the archer. I dropped the solder just as it got to him.
A worker came from my rear and attacked the archer. I had gotten over my anger of archers so I attacked it. The worker drops and I go to loot my solder kill. The @#$@#$!@# archer is looting it. Serves me right.
Later I'm at the last step to the jumping pit. I had just finished killing a solder and a Noble jumps down in back of me. I was able to turn and take it on before getting any critical damage. I get in a few hits and a high-level archer jumps down and steals the kill out from under me.
If a Noble is attacking something else I can sometimes get a kill over an archer. If it is attacking me I almost never do. I was pissed off at archers again so I was not too nice. "I better get a share", I said. Now if someone had said this to me I doubt I would share a thing. But when I'm mad and frustrated, and I was very mad and frustrated this week. I will let my mouth over run my thinking. After I cooled down I told him I was sorry and we left it at that. It seems that he had chased it a long way after some lamer had run it off.
So from there I jump back into the pit. Not much to kill because the archers were running everything to the swiss cheese wall. Then killing them in safety. They were looting a large pile as I ran passed. I jumped into the pit after working my way around the line of archer surrounding it and up the ramp.
I got to the top and killed a worker. There was no one there so I thought I might get a shot at the only non-camped noble. I charged my weapon and was moving to the noble spawn when "Goat something", the leach crossbow man ran passed me. The Noble had just spawned and he runs up and takes a shot at it. The Noble hit him, I guess very hard. He turns and runs. @#$@#$#@!#@! Finally get a shot at a Noble and this lamer is going to run it off.
I chase it up the ramp and they leap off the ledge. I jump over the ledge and they are not there. I make the next jump and still not there. So on and so forth until we hit the last ledge leading to the jumping pit where I caught up with them. Lamer runs to a passage way and the Noble is trapped against the wall.
I knew where he had run had a worker in it so I would not be seeing him for a while. If the worker was dead then as soon as the Noble turns on me he will start to leach. I guess it was there as I was able to kill the Noble before he returned. It had one item worth selling, nothing else.
Elder told me how to get back to the Incunubula Vault. If this keeps up I may have to change places to hunt. Think I will pour everything into melee defense for a level. It is 287 now and I feel 300 may be what I need for the Vault. (Darn it 324k a point, that's about 12 million for 13 more.)
One thing for sure, there will be no lamers there. This is the third place overcrowding have chased me out of.
